SawStop Announces Changes to Its European OperationsFind Out More

After careful review, SawStop has decided to discontinue the production and sale of new SawStop products in the European and UK markets, meaning SawStop Europe will cease its current operations in Europe and within the UK in an orderly manner by the end of 2026.

SawStop products and accessories will remain available for purchase until the 15th of December 2026, or while supplies last, whichever occurs first. After the 15th of December, SawStop Europe will stop accepting new orders within the UK and Europe, however, authorised dealers may continue selling available SawStop products and accessories, subject to their inventory and availability, until their inventory is exhausted.

Importantly, we remain committed to supporting our customers, tradespeople, workshops and woodworking enthusiasts who already own a SawStop table saw and will continue to provide product support for SawStop products in the market throughout the transition, and beyond.

For existing SawStop owners, and potential customers who purchase while supplies last, support, warranty assistance and access to essential parts, including brake cartridges, will continue past December 2026. SawStop will remain the customer-facing brand for support, with service arrangements managed directly by SawStop.

While we are proud to have been a part of the European and UK woodworking communities for the past three years, changing market conditions have led us to focus our resources on our North American business and future strategic opportunities.

We can imagine this change will raise questions for both existing owners and potential buyers who are looking to invest and upgrade their workshops. We’ve tried to answer these questions ahead of time in this article – but if you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us at:

What is Changing for SawStop in Europe?

SawStop expects direct European sales to conclude in mid-December 2026, subject to inventory availability and warehouse shipping schedules. Customers may continue to purchase available products during the transition while supplies last. After SawStop stops accepting new European orders, authorised dealers may continue selling inventory they already own until their stock is exhausted. Availability may vary by product, country, and dealer.

While this represents a change to SawStop’s European operations, the company remains committed to supporting customers who already own SawStop products.

SawStop will also continue to operate in North America and all current operating regions, where its products remain available.

What Does The Change Mean for Existing SawStop Owners?

For customers who already own a SawStop table saw, the change to new product availability does not mean that their machine will no longer be supported.

SawStop will continue to provide support for existing European customers, with service managed directly by SawStop US.

This includes support for existing products, warranty claims, and relevant spare parts.

Will My SawStop Warranty Still Be Valid?

Yes. Existing warranty claims will continue to be honoured and fulfilled in an orderly manner.

The change to European product availability does not mean that existing warranty commitments will simply end.

Warranty claims will continue to be managed through SawStop, and customers can contact the SawStop support team for assistance.

Customers with questions about an existing warranty should contact:

supporteurope@sawstop.com

Customers should retain their original purchase information, warranty documentation and machine serial number, as these may be required when submitting a warranty claim.

Can I Still Get SawStop Spare Parts?

Existing customers will continue to have access to relevant spare parts for their SawStop machines.

SawStop intends to continue providing relevant replacement parts for products sold in Europe. Contact supporteurope@sawstop.com with the product model, serial number, and the part or issue you need help with.

What Happens to SawStop Brake Cartridges?

SawStop brake cartridges will continue to be available to European customers.

Customers looking to purchase a replacement brake cartridge can do so by contacting supporteurope@sawstop.com.

Can You Still Buy a New SawStop in Europe?

Yes, during the transition and while supplies last. Availability will vary by product, country, and dealer. After SawStop stops accepting new European orders, authorised dealers may continue selling products they already own until their inventory is exhausted.

Customers should refer to SawStop’s official communications for the latest information about European product availability.

What Should Existing SawStop Customers Do Now?

For existing customers, no immediate action is required.

If you already own a SawStop machine, you can continue to use it and should continue to follow the manufacturer’s maintenance and operating guidance.

If you need support, contact the SawStop team through supporteurope@sawstop.com

Customers should retain their original purchase information and machine serial number, as these will be required when seeking support.

Continuing to Support SawStop Customers

The changes to SawStop’s European operations mark a new phase for the business, but the commitment to existing customers remains.

New SawStop products will be available past the official closure; however, availability will vary by product, country, and dealer. New and existing customers will continue to have access to support, warranty assistance, relevant spare parts and brake cartridges.

Customers with questions about the transition or an existing SawStop product should contact the SawStop support team at supporteurope@sawstop.com
