All new SawStop saws (referred to as “Saw/Saws”) have been inspected and tested by our high-quality standards. Therefore, TTS Europe SE (referred to as “SawStop Europe“), as distributor of SawStop US in Europe, grants the customer a product Guarantee for new Saws (referred to as “SawStop Europe Guarantee or Guarantee”).
You are offered the option of registering your new Saw with us (SawStop Europe) online and receive – in addition to the statutory warranty claims – an extended Guarantee up to 3-years (36 months) starting at the date of purchase, the SawStop Europe Guarantee.
By registering online, you agree to the following Guarantee conditions.
- Requirements for registration

- An online registration (sawstop.eu) needs to be issued by the Saw owner within 30 days of purchase.
- Purchase through an authorized dealer or through SawStop Europe directly.
- Upload of the valid, original, readable invoice or delivery bill showing a date of purchase
You will receive a virtual certificate as proof of registration. -
- Conditions of the SawStop Europe Guarantee
- The SawStop Europe Guarantee is valid in the United Kingdom (UK) and European Union (EU). It is however limited to states where SawStop Europe is actively selling Saws directly or, alternatively, through authorized third parties.
- The SawStop Europe Guarantee is not transferable and belongs to the owner of the Saw. This Guarantee is not valid to persons purchasing SawStop Saws for the purpose of resale or product-rental.
- The SawStop Europe Guarantee period starts at the date of purchase (as on invoice) for the Saw. Guarantee services and replacement deliveries covered by this Guarantee do not extend the Guarantee period.
- With these SawStop Europe Guarantee conditions, SawStop Europe grants you additional rights that exist in addition to your contractual and statutory warranty claims. This Guarantee conditions do not constitute a waiver, restriction, or other change to the contractual or statutory warranty rights.
- All Guarantee claims must be stated to SawStop Europe immediately after noticed by the user (an email to supporteurope@sawstop.com is sufficient). The Saw, together with all accessories and the original invoice which must include the type of Saw and the date of purchase must be returned to one of the one of SawStop Europe’s authorized service locations. SawStop Europe will inform you about your responsible service location.
- The SawStop Europe Guarantee is valid for both, merchants, and private users. If you have purchased the Saw as a merchant, your claims presuppose that you must check the Saw immediately after receiving and report obvious defects promptly, or within two weeks after receiving the Saw at the latest and hidden defects as soon as they are discovered. You are a merchant if you exercise commercial or independent professional activities on conclusion of the agreement. This applies to a natural person, legal entities, and partnerships having legal capacity.
- Content and scope of the SawStop Europe Guarantee
- Defects caused by a material or manufacturing fault within the Guarantee period shall be remedied free of charge within a reasonable period either by repair or replacement. The expenses required for this purpose, such as transport, travel, labor, and spare parts costs, shall be borne by SawStop Europe. Replaced parts or machines become the property of SawStop Europe.
- The delivery of consumables and accessories (e.g. saw blades) is not included in this Guarantee.
- This SawStop Europe Guarantee does not cover
- For Wear parts (e.g. carbon brushes, ball bearings, rubber sleeves, sealing rings and switches) because of natural wear from normal use of the machine, including a lack of maintenance.
- In the event of damage to consumables and accessories, especially in the case of plug-it cables, saw blades, routers, blades, cutting equipment, etc.
- If instructions in the operating manual or other documents relating to the connection, installation, commissioning, operation, use and maintenance of Saw are ignored.
- If Saws are used improperly or damaged externally (in particular because of falls or impacts).
- if Saws are damaged due to improper storage or exposure to weather (e.g., rain, hail, snow).
- If Saws defects occur because of the use of non-original accessories or spare parts.
- If Saws are modified, dismantled or components are added. Including an attempted repair by anyone other than a SawStop authorized third parties.
- If Saws are used for continuous work in industrial applications resulting in extensive wear or are used persistently for applications that place an above-average load on the Saw.
- If the Saw is returned incomplete.
- Final obligations
- Data protection
The personal data which were received through the online registration of your Machine (incl. invoice-upload) (e.g. first and last name, address) are stored, processed, or used exclusively for the handling of the associated services. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR. If and insofar as you delete your SawStop Europe account, we will continue to store your personal data required for the fulfilment of the contract until the Guarantee expires.All data is used by SawStop Europe. In addition, we may transfer the data to TTS Tooltechnic Systems AG & Co. KG. The legal basis for this is our company interest, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. The data will not be transferred to other third parties or otherwise used for advertising purposes. For further information on data protection, please see sawstop.eu
- Changes to customer contact details
If any of your contact details change, SawStop Europe asks you to change them immediately on your free SawStop Europe account at sawstop.eu. SawStop is not responsible for any additional costs resulting from obsolete customer data. - Change of Terms and Conditions
SawStop Europe reserves the right to cancel, supplement or change the Guarantee or these terms of Guarantee entirely or in part, giving reasonable notice, or without such notice if good cause is shown, while taking reasonable consideration of your interests. - Miscellaneous
- The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, with the exclusion of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
- Sole place of jurisdiction for all disagreements relating to this Guarantee is the headquarters of SawStop Europe (TTS Europe SE).
- If a clause in these terms is or becomes ineffective or invalid in part or in full or a regulatory gap is found, the effectiveness of the other terms re-mains unaffected. Instead of the ineffective or invalid clause, the relevant effective or valid clause that comes as close as possible to the sense and purpose of the invalid clause shall be considered agreed. In the event of a regulatory gap, the clause that corresponds to what would have been agreed shall be considered agreed.
- Data protection
