Please complete the following questionnaire. If you’ve already received a case number and instructions from us, you may proceed with sending in your activated brake cartridge. If we receive your completed form and find that no case has been assigned, we will email you a case number along with instructions for sending in your activated cartridge. After we receive both your completed form and the activated brake cartridge, a SawStop Technical Support engineer will review the cartridge data to determine the cause of activation. Before taking the time to complete this form and sending in your cartridge, please check for other common causes of activation—such as very wet or pressure-treated wood, metal contact (e.g., tape measure, ruler, jig), uncured glue, or carbonized material—as these conductive materials can trigger the cartridge. This form should only be used for activations with unknown causes that are not related to finger contact or known conductive materials. If finger contact is suspected, please complete the “Report a Save” https://sawstop.eu/report-a-save-known-or-suspected-finger-contact/ form instead.
